This past Tuesday we made white-chocolate macadamia cookies. They turned out a bit too crunchy for my taste, and I couldn't make them in my counter top cookie factory. For shame. Anyways. It definitely got that light-bulb glass taste out of my mouth (um, barf). I would suggest to anyone who makes these to either wait until macadamia nuts are cheaper, or drop the cash for some high-quality macadamias (I think unsalted almonds would have been really great in these as well). Miss Pynqi, who told me that she didn't like cookies the week before, said that they were lovely with a glass of milk. I am going to PA this week, and hopefully I will return with some wicked-awesome recipes and ideas. I do know that I'm going to eat good food. Great food. A lot of it. I love Philly.
